The last week

The week continued as usual, the children worked with their chips and continued to matters except Wednesday and Thursday.

Monday February 1st we received a surprise, this Friday would have a carnival at the school, where students come to school dressed and make a parade around the school with their costumes so that everyone can see them.

Wednesday February 3, students did the tests Language and Mathematics. They did very well, and I was going around to see if a student had a problem. In addition, I made my second intervention giving the class, where I had to give the number of the noun, seeing how good was the methodology in the last class that I gave, I decided to do the same, explaining the theory briefly and applying it in a game to reinforce it (although this time the activity was group of 3 students) and finally, they make a tab that I made myself to make sure they understood and assimilated well.

Thursday 4, the tutor and I thought to paint a mural because the students studied the water cycle. So we decided to do on a continuous paper a big mural with the cycle drawn, for that, she asked me to draw for on Friday with the help of all be able to color it and decorate it (I thought about putting cotton at clouds) so among all and realize that they can learn better and serve to decorate the classroom.
Therefore the last two hours I dedicated myself to realize the great sketch.

This day we made a class unusual way. Students were watching the state of water, so the tutor brought ice cubes for children could see the different states where water could be found. We drove past the ice cubes in a small Ziploc bag and could even take one for experiment, and then leave them in the bag on the border of the window for them to melt and they saw the change of state had occurred in the water.
I think it's a fun and different way for students to learn abstract concepts just reading it in the book and thus improve their learning and retention given the motivation to present themselves manipulative and experimental activities.

Friday 5 was my last day, it was a day full of activities and emotions. To begin, students were lecturing as if it were a normal day and at 10 and a half we were in the courtyard forming rows all courses for the carnival parade.
The whole school was disguised, even teachers. When I arrived I saw many children by all sides disguised as all sorts of things. When students saw me coming they asked me if later disguise me and they answered yes. When we left at 10 and a half, all college courses conducted the parade, where we expect many parents and family to take pictures of their children. It was a fun experience because all parents were excited and surprised seeing so many children dressed. When we finished the parade we were in the yard to see a street band that came to sing a little. After that, each course went to class to continue working. The tutor and I teach the class mural yesterday I was doing and organize groups to come and paint and color things the mural and were changing from time to time so that everyone could participate.

We were making and decorating the mural until half an hour before the end of the teaching hour, when they started to give me drawings and letters that made me for my bachelor students. It was then that I began to distribute boxes goodies I had made for everyone, and that was when everyone got up to give me a hug and began to ask please do not go away, and that they were going to miss terribly. It was a very special moment as it is unspoilable how in three weeks can get so fond of a group of students and how you can connect so well with them, and when they came to me together a hug was a unique moment that I will never forget because They were "my first students."
